May 18th has been a special day for many years .... My dear friend , Regina's birthday. Reggie was a true friend in Brazil and helped me overcome many hurdles.... As I drove down to Torino yesterday afternoon , I reflected on my luck .... Suddenly my cell phone rang , it was Kevin , my only son . His tone of voice immediately made me think of news, good news... Baby Valeria was born safe and sound ! Even though she's my 8th grandchild , I wanted to share my news with everyone .... Fortunately last night my UNI3 class organized a dinner at Mariuccia's house for me so I was able to share my joy with close friends ...
Just before falling asleep my thoughts turned to Dr. Danda, a friend's daughter.... God bless , Alessandra . Valeria's birth today for me was a POSITIVE sign .... Overcome one hurdle at a time . Un'abbraccio, Anne

In the past few weeks I realized how lucky I am ! Four beautiful children who although they do not live close to me , I feel their presence .... Life has been quite a roller coaster but I have been successful in regaining my self esteem and optimism . Summer holidays with all our different languages is wonderful .....Nonna Anne
